Description
Since its founding in 2017, the Women's Coffee Extension (WCE) has been dedicated to creating opportunities for female coffee producers in Rwanda and giving them a stronger voice. With over 700 members, the WCE focuses on empowering women through education, nutritional programs, and agricultural practices. This has led to increased coffee production and doubled the number of green coffee beans processed at the washing station. The WCE also plans to open a nursery school, build a sewing center, offer cows to members, and provide health insurance and RFA certification. Each cup of Rwanda's "Kawa Yacu" Honey Process coffee boasts tangy citrus flavors, including orange and lemon, balanced with sweet milk chocolate.
