Guatemala Antigua Los Volcanes

$25.00

Ciudad Vieja was the second colonial capital of Guatemala however back in 1541 the Agua Volcano erupted causing mudslides to completely destroy the city. A tree in the corner of the plaza and commemorative plaque mark the once vibrant capital city, Ciudad Vieja. The capital was then moved about four miles north to present day Antigua. Being a top leader in the coffee scene since 1952, Guatemala’s coffee growing region of Antigua, Los Volcanes is grown on the side of a volcano and throughout the valleys. The soil here is rich in minerals and nutrients that yields consistently unique, quality coffee. Fully washed and dried on patios creates an above average body with notes of pulpy orange, sweet milk chocolate and brown sugar.
