The southern region of Chiapas is known for its highlands, lush Lacondón rainforest, and Mayan ruins which still stand tall. With flavors of vanilla and dark chocolate alongside notes of cranberry, this taste profile provides a standalone experience that needs nothing else. So you can say adíos to any cream or sugar additions. The coffee from this lot is part of the Federación de Sociedades Cooperativas Indígenas y Ecológicas de Chiapas (FESICH), which was founded by five groups of coffee producers in 2009. Today there are over 3,300 members who produce coffee for the organization. The beans are handled with care and sun dried on their patios before becoming the delicious roast you are sipping on today.
