Guatemala Acetanango Gesha
Gesha beans are one of the most sought after and rare beans on earth. The most striking thing about Gesha variety coffees is that they taste nothing like their Latin American counterparts. This particular lot is reminiscent of the character of Yirga Cheffe grown in Ethiopia, half a world away. Gesha can be an incredibly hard cultivar to grow because it is very susceptible to winds, is extremely labor-intensive, and not everyone has the resources to produce it. The resulting product, when achieved, is exceptional.
